Donnybrook to Nala Mia hut. 46km today. It rained on us again this morning, but not too much, so we warmed up quickly. Nice riding today, with the surfaces quite soft from the rain, but not too muddy – still easily rideable. Included a nice long section through a pine plantation. The sun didn’t quite get it’s strength until the afternoon, when we reached Nala Mia hut. Nige and Hans managed to dig out some beers, so we enjoyed beer and biltong as the sun went down, watching some kangaroos grazing away happily on the grass beside the hut, with the black cockatoos shouting from the trees.
