Well, we’ve been to Antarctica, and it was every bit as spectacular as we expected. The place is incredible, and photographs simply do not do justice to the scale and astounding beauty of this remote place. Anywhere you stand, you have incredible 360 degree views of towering mountains, enormous icebergs and glaciers dotting the bays and shores. At times, you simply need to stand still and try to take it all in – we humans are insignificant, dwarfed by this powerful show of natural beauty.
