Visited this small garden in Chelsea today. The garden, established in 1673, is the oldest botanic garden in London and was founded by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries for the purpose of training apprentices in identifying medicinal plants. It is now a living collection of around 5,000 different edible, useful, medicinal and historical plants … and a wonderful place to wander around, take photos, and have a cup of tea.
